Geodetic to Cartesian Coordinates Converter Online

Geodetic to Cartesian Coordinates Converter Online-summary

This conversion converts geodetic coordinate values (longitude, latitude, elevation above ellipsoid) to their geocentric (X, Y, Z) representation. This tool supports batch conversion, and the conversion results can be downloaded locally.

Geodetic to Cartesian Coordinates Converter Online-instructions

The online geodetic coordinates to cartesian coordinates conversion tool supports the mutual conversion of multiple geodetic coordinate system and cartesian coordinate system. The built-in geodetic coordinates are: MERIT, SGS85, GRS80, IAU76, GRS67, helmert, WGS60, WGS66, WGS72, WGS84. It also supports customizing the geodetic coordinates through the semi-major axis of the ellipsoid and the reverse flattening of the ellipsoid,.

  1. Input Coordinates : Enter geodetic coordinates or cartesian coordinates. Use Comma-separated values, and enter one coordinate per line. Supports input of multiple lines. the geodetic coordinates format is longitude, latitude, elevation above ellipsoid (L , B , H), The units are degrees(°), degrees(°), and meters(m). The cartesian coordinates format is X , Y , Z, The unit is meters(m).
  2. Ellipsoid : Select the ellipsoid definition of the geodetic coordinates, which supports user-defined ellipsoids.
  3. Semi-major Axis : The semi-major axis of a custom ellipsoid, in meters (m). The value range is [6370000,6379999].
  4. Reverse Flattening : Reverse flattening of the ellipsoid, 1/f. The value range is [270,300].
  5. LBH→XYZ : Convert geodetic coordinates (longitude, latitude, elevation above ellipsoid ) to cartesian coordinates (X , Y , Z).
  6. XYZ→LBH : Convert cartesian coordinates (X , Y , Z) to geodetic coordinates (longitude, latitude, elevation above ellipsoid) .
  7. Open File : Support for opening UTF-8 encoded text files.
  8. This tool has a certain frequency limit, please use this tool reasonably. Anonymous : 30/IP*Hour, Normal user : 30/Hour, VIP : 120/Hour, Senior VIP : 120/Hour.
Anonymous and normal users can only enter one set of coordinates at a time, and batch conversion is not supported. VIP and advanced VIP users support batch conversion.
  9. Cartesian Coordinates Definition : The first axis (X) points from the Earth centre to the point of longitude=0, latitude=0, the second axis (Y) points from the Earth centre to the point of longitude=90, latitude=0 and the third axis (Z) points to the North pole.
  10. Built in ellipsoid parameters :
