File Type Detection Online-summary

Online file type detection, supporting the detection of hundreds of binary file formats. Support batch detection of file formats, and the detection results can be downloaded locally.

File Type Detection Online-instructions
  1. Open files without limiting file types, supporting up to 1000 files to be opened simultaneously.
  2. This tool supports detecting the file types of binary files and supports detecting hundreds of binary file formats. The detection principle is to detect a specific byte sequence (Magic Number) at the beginning of a file, which is used to identify the type of file.
  3. Download : Download the detection result, and the encoding of the downloaded file is UTF-8.
  4. This tool does not support detecting text-based file formats such as txt, csv, svg, etc. It is recommended to open and view text-based files directly using a text editor, If you are unsure about the character encoding of a text file, you can use the File Encoding Detect and Convert Online tool on this website.
