Fetal Weight Calculator Online-summary

Online fetal weight calculator predicts and calculates fetal weight based on parameters such as uterine height, abdominal circumference, biparietal diameter, and femur length. Support viewing the distribution of fetal weight, biparietal diameter, abdominal circumference, femur length, and other parameters at different weeks.

Fetal Weight Calculator Online-instructions
  1. Formula : This tool supports multiple formula to predict and calculate fetal weight, and each formula requires different parameters. Recommend using Hadlock 4 formula. Parameters applied in each formula:
    AC abdominal circumference, in centimeters.
    BPD biparietal diameter, in centimeters.
    FL femur length, in centimeters.
    HC head circumference, in centimeters.
    HL humerus length, in centimeters.
    FH fundal height, in centimeters.
The final calculated fetal weight unit is grams. Formula details:
    1. FH-AL Formula : weight = FH*AC+200 , suitable for simple calculation scenarios.
    2. BPD-AC-FL Formula : weight = 1.07*(BPD)³+0.3*(AC)²*FL , suitable for scenarios calculated through ultrasound results.
    3. Hadlock 4 : Log10 (weight) = 1.3596 -0.00386* AC * FL+0.0064*HC+0.00061*BPD*AC+ 0.0424*AC+0.174*FL , this formula is widely used and has high accuracy. It is recommended to use this formula first.
    4. Hadlock 3 : Log 10 (weight) = 1.326-0.00326 *AC*FL+0.0107*HC +0.0438*AC + 0.158*FL .
    5. Shepard Formula : Log 10 (weight) = (-1.7492+ 0.166*BPD +0.046*AC - 2.646*(AC*BPD)/1000)*1000 .
  2. When filling in various parameters, please pay attention to the units of the parameters. Generally, in the ultrasound examination during pregnancy, there will be numerical values for various parameters.
  3. The fetal growth calculator can calculate the fetal abdominal circumference (AC), biparietal diameter (BPD), and predict the percentile of fetal weight (EFW), femur length (FL), head circumference (HC), and humerus length (HL) using formulas and parameters from the World Health Organization (WHO) based on the selected number of weeks. For example, 50th indicates that 50% of fetuses are distributed below this value. 50% of fetuses are distributed between the 25th and 75th. 80% of fetuses are distributed between 10th and 90th.
  4. All prediction calculation formulas have errors, and the final result needs to be comprehensively evaluated by doctors. In clinical practice, doctors do not rely solely on one formula. They will make a comprehensive judgment based on your pregnancy week, nutritional status, health status (such as whether there is diabetes or hypertension during pregnancy) and the data trend of multiple prenatal examinations, so as to get a more comprehensive assessment.
  5. If you find that the value is "too large" or "too small" after calculating it yourself, please do not be overly anxious. This is likely within the normal range of error. The most correct approach is:
    1. Communicate with your prenatal checkup doctor: Share your measurement results and concerns with the doctor.
    2. Trust in professional evaluation: Doctors will combine all information to provide you with the most professional judgment and advice.
    3. Follow medical advice: If the fetal weight is indeed abnormal, the doctor will guide you to adjust your diet, increase exercise, or undergo further examinations.
