Geohash Encode Decode Online-instructions

Online Geohash encoding and decoding tool, supporting encoding and decoding functions from latitude and longitude to Geohash. Support querying the nearest coordinates from a set of coordinate points to the center point. Support querying the coordinates within a specified radius range of the center point in a set of coordinate points.

  1. Geohash : Calculate the encoding and decoding of latitude and longitude coordinates to Geohash.
    1. Input Coordinates : Input longitude and latitude coordinates, or latitude and longitude coordinates. Supports up to 10000 sets of coordinates input. Example :
      Longitude and latitude coordinates:
      123,32
      -134,-32
      134,-32
      121.0123456789,32.0123456789
      Latitude and longitude coordinates:
      32,123
      -32,-134
      -32,134
      32.0123456789,121.0123456789
    2. Geohash : Input Geohash values, supporting up to 10000 Geohash values. Example :
      wtxqncmve8r7
      3429yy84mxwh
      qfr3cnxf6r9u
      wtwn1ewt2jbb
    3. Coordinate Format : Select whether longitude or latitude comes first in the input coordinates.
    4. Geohash Precision : Specify the number of characters used for Geohash encoding, and the corresponding precision for different character numbers is as follows:
Geohash Precision Box(Lat x Lng) Box(Height x Width) Lat Bits Lng Bits Lat Error Lng Error Distance Error
      1 45° x 45° 5000km x 5000km 2 3 ±23° ±23° ±2,500 km

    5. Result Format : Select the format of the results. This tool supports CSV and JSON formats.
    6. Encode : Convert the input latitude and longitude coordinates into Geohash values.
    7. Decode : Convert the input Geohash value to latitude and longitude coordinates. In the decoding result, the center coordinates and boundary coordinates of the corresponding Geohash value block, as well as the number of characters representing the accuracy of the Geohash value, will be displayed.
  2. Points Query : Query the coordinates nearest to the center point, or all coordinates within the specified radius range of the center point.
    1. Query Type : Select the type of point query. All points within radius - query all coordinate points within the specified radius range of the center point. Nearest point: Query the coordinate point nearest to the center point.
    2. Center Point : Input the coordinates of the center point. The coordinate format determines whether it is a longitude latitude coordinate or a latitude longitude coordinate.
    3. The point query uses the Haversine formula to calculate the Great Circle Distance between two coordinate points, Then, based on the distance of the great circle, select the coordinate points that meet the conditions.
  3. Open : Open the file, the supported file encoding is UTF-8.
  4. Download : Download the data locally and encode the downloaded file as UTF-8.
  5. Clear : Clear the current input data.
